Leonardo Schubert, AIA is a licensed architect in the states of Florida, Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania and holds a certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

His design approach begins by first understanding the client’s needs and what makes their project so unique. In a very interactive process, Leonardo gives form to ideas and brings to life the essence of the design. The outcome is the pure manifestation of the client’s vision in physical form merged with a deep understanding of the geographic, historic, and social fabric in which they are situated.

Leonardo, attended Temple University School of Architecture in Philadelphia, PA where he earned his bachelors of architecture in 2005. Shortly after graduation, Leonardo relocated to Miami, FL, where he began his training as young intern under the guidance of Ruiz Brito Architects, a small architectural practice that consisted of two experienced architects and himself. Leonardo worked closely with the owners of the firm in several custom luxury homes in the Pinecrest and Coral Gables area as well high-rise multi-family buildings in Miami Beach.

In 2011 Leonardo, joined forces with Element Design Group; an Engineering and Architectural office located in Lewes Beach, Delaware. As the Architect of record, Leonardo oversaw the design and production of all architectural projects at Element.

In 2014 Leonardo departed ways from Element and relocated back to South Florida where he continued assisting Element remotely as well as working on his own projects.
